This week we spotlight Captain Jon Coleman. Jon started with the Pinch Fire Department in 2000 and has continued to excel in his career in the fire service since then. Jon currently works full-time for the Charleston Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic and part-time for HealthNet Aeromedical Services Base 3 as a Flight Paramedic.

Jon has worked is way up the ranks over the years from Firefighter to Lieutenant and recently becoming a Captain. Jon oversees our first responder program, technical rescue operations, and communications within the department.

During his spare time, when he has any, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors on his side by side. Jon brings so much to the table as a Pinch Fire Department member and continues to be a mentor to the young members as they start their fire service career with us.
