March 11, 2016

Pinch Fire was toned out for the assistance call, with a puppy stuck in a pipe. Upon arrival to the scene we found the puppy to be 45 feet down a 6" diameter pipe. With some ingenuity by the group of firefighters we were able to retrieve the puppy out of the pipe. Upon removal, the puppy was given oxygen and transported to the animal hospital. Special thanks to Mike Ferrell of Elk PSD for use of the camera in our operation.

Units: Squad 2, U-25
