March 1st doesn't just bring a break in the weather and spring approaching. It also begins tightened burning regulations in WV. Please help your local fire department and the WV Division of Forestry by obeying these few simple rules. 1. No burning from 7am to 5pm 2. All fires must be attended at all times 3.A 10 foot area around the fire must be cleared down to mineral soil. 4. If your fire escapes you are responsible for any damage or cost associated with fighting the fire. 5. Only natural materials can be burned such as tree limbs or brush. No trash, tires or plastics.
