| 🚒❤️ Shirt Fundraiser for Firefighter/EMT Halle Schafer ❤️🚒
Our department is coming together to support one of our own.
Firefighter/EMT Halle Schafer was recently diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) — a rare neurological disorder where the body’s immune system attacks the nerves. This condition can cause weakness, numbness, and even temporary paralysis. Halle is facing a challenging road to recovery, but if you know her, you know she’s strong, determined, and a fighter in every sense of the word. Prior to her diagnosis, Halle was working full time for Kanawha County Ambulance Authority as an EMT and was working towards becoming a Paramedic.
Now it’s our turn to stand behind her.
We are selling “Halle Strong” shirts to help support Halle and her family with medical expenses and recovery costs during this time. Every purchase goes directly toward helping her focus on healing without the added financial burden.
